J5X conducts sensitive activities planning in support of global requirements. TASK PURPOSE

Provide analysis and executive-level strategy products for each of the strategic threats identified in the National Defense Strategy—Russia, China, Iran, North Korea (DPRK), and Violent Extremist Organizations (VEOs)—to enable efficient and globally integrated application of SOF. Products include SOF-specific campaign strategies and plans to supplement Global Campaign Plans, support global integration, provide globally-oriented strategic analysis, orient USSOCOM resourcing and force allocation processes, and deliver systems expertise and advice to USSOCOM leadership.

Essential Job Responsibilities

• Provide relevant, on-site SOF regional SME support to facilitate, coordinate, and engage in all tasks related to complex global security issues and transnational threats.

• Brief, update, and participate in required meetings, engagements, and coordination efforts that enable production of deliverables.

• Foreign Disclosure Representative assists the client understand the releasability of all-source intelligence products.

• Apply subject matter expertise and applicable regulations and guidance to perform document review for release.

• Prepare and process foreign disclosure requests and prepare recommendations to the Government for approval or denial per US disclosure policies and guidance.

• Prepare responses to Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests.
