BUDGET ANALYST 3 Location: Pascagoula, Mississippi, United States Date: Dec 2, 2020 Job DescriptionCompiles and reviews budgets for corporate or organizational units using actual performance, previous budget figures, estimated revenue, expense reports, and other data sources to control funds and provide for proper financial administration. Prepares financial plans, monitors implementation of financial policies, prepares regular and special-purpose reports, maintains historical records, analyzes trends, establishes cost rates and personnel forecasts, recommends and interprets budgetary policies and procedures, prepares comparative evaluation of actual costs against budgeted funds, and determines rationale for variances between costs and budget.Basic Qualifications6 Years with Bachelor's Degree in related field; 4 years of relevant professional experience with a Master's Degree andbull; Experience identifying financial risk and providing suggestions for potential activities/actions to mitigate risks and provide andldquo;predictabilityandrdquo; in meeting budgetary goals. andbull; Previous finance or budget analysis experience working in a program or finance environment. andbull; Previous experience analyzing budget reports and assessing rationale for variances between cost and budget. andbull; Previous experience monitoring project schedules, milestones, and assessing potential impacts to budget performance.
