Job Description
The individual works with the current team to provide logistics and training support to Marine Corps units located in North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Missouri, and other locations, as needed.
Essential Job Responsibilities
The individual hired for this position will be required to participate in the following activities:
• Be knowledgeable of the CBRN and EOD DRSKO sets
• Inventory and maintenance actions of the CBRN and EOD DRSKO sets
• Inventory and maintenance actions of the EOD CBRNE Kist currently fielded until replaced by the EOD DRSKO sets
• Coordinate and conduct training in support of Marine units at unit locations or HII facilities; this includes classroom and scenario based training
• Work as member of a dynamic team able to operate autonomously.
• Able to learn and use the IBM Maximo system to conduct inventory analysis
• When required, coordinate purchases for equipment, services, consumables, and other items, as required.
• Assist in tracking, maintaining, and accounting for government furnished equipment and contractor acquired property via a DCAA certified on-line management
Minimum Qualifications
3 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; OR 1 year relevant experience with Masters in related field; OR High School Diploma or equivalent and 7 years relevant experience.
Must be able to pass a background investigation
Must be able to manage multiple projects at one time
Must be able to work independently
Must be detail oriented and organized
Ability to research, analyze, and evaluate information
Ability to express ideas effectively orally and in writing
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
An active Security Clearance at the SECRET level or higher is required
All candidates will be subject to a pre-employment background investigation and drug screening per HII requirements
Preferred Requirements
At least four years of United States Marine Corps CBRN experience.
5-10 years of Logistics experience
Preferred Education/Qualifications:
ACAT I program experience
Government Level II certification in Life Cycle Logistics or civilian equivalent
Certified Professional Logistician, Certified Supply Chain Manager, Supply Chain Professional, Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or similar
