Job Description

Sought Qualifications, Characteristics, and Experience:

  • Payment implementation and operations experience (10 – 15 years) with deep subject matter expertise with payment systems and fintech products preferred; high technical aptitude

  • Comprehensive understanding of the current and evolving payments ecosystem and value chain

  • Ability to design, structure and negotiate well defined Partner Agreements that reflect strong value exchange and ensure ongoing economic and commercial viability.

  • Experience defining market and product requirements, working with engineering organizations to rapidly deliver high-impact capabilities

  • Experience in using agile working practices

  • Experience building and analyzing cost/benefit scenarios and business cases

  • Strong analytical problem-solving and quantitative skills

  • Independent self-starter with strong work ethic and strong bias for action

  • Strong management skills including the ability to deliver many large-scale initiatives simultaneously

  • Confident/assertive yet highly collaborative approach including the ability to readily build trust and gain alignment cross-functionally

  • Ability to manage up through a matrixed organization and leaders with varying perspectives

  • Excellent executive level verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely

  • Broad payments industry experience required; merchant payments experience preferred

  • Flexibility and calm/poise under pressure/adverse circumstances

  • Bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred)
