Position Overview
Siemens Industry, Inc. is looking for an enthusiastic, detail-oriented individual to work with our proposal and technical inquiries team related to the medium voltage OEM switchgear and components product line. This position reports into the Siemens SI DS, Electrical Services business. The candidate will be responsible for the quotation of and minor order management of opportunities with a number of partnered customers for the OEM product lines.
Responsibilities
Daily job functions would include the following:
Interfacing with customers to gather appropriate details
Quotation of circuit breakers of service related projects
Interfacing with engineering teams for the implementation of quoted jobs
Various reporting needs related to the job function
Financial Analysis
Process Improvement
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
Bachelors degree in Engineering, Mechanical or Electrical preferred
3+ years of experience in a technical or similar role
individual support of projects
Microsoft Office applications
Travel 10%
Desired Skills, but not required:
Salesforce.com or similar CRM. SAP
