PositionOverview
Siemens Advanta Consulting seeks to hire a Senior Consultant within our U.S. Digital Consulting practice who will focus on business model transformation within the industrial business-to-business (B2B) supplier industry. Specifically, the individual will utilize his/her experience and expertise to help clients develop and implement strategies related to servitization, anything-as-a-service and customer success. Priorities for this role include strategy and offering development, business development and serving in an expert role as part of an engagement delivery team. This position will report to the VP/Partner of Siemens Advanta U.S. Digital Consulting.
The location in the US is flexible with a preference for major US metropolitan areas (e.g. Atlanta, Orlando, Detroit, Chicago, Houston, New York, Boston, San Francisco, Austin, Los Angeles).
Responsibilities
RequiredKnowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
We are looking for candidates with 5 – 8 years of experience and expertise in the industrial B2B supplier industry driving business model transformation – e.g. servitization, anything-as-a-service and customer success. This includes business strategy, process/operational design and frameworks for enabling IIOT solutions.
Basic Qualifications:
Experience and expertise in the industrial B2B supplier industry
Experience in supporting consulting offering development, businessdevelopment and delivering client engagements
Experience and expertise to include business model transformation, innovationmethods, use case development and conversancy in digital twins
Basic financial analysis and cost model knowledge for developing ROImodels
A relevant bachelor’s degree - e.g. engineering, supply chain, computerscience
PreferredQualifications
Prior experience at a top management consulting firm
Experience working in a digital transformation role within an industrialB2B supplier
An MBA from a leading university
Other Requirements:
This individual will have strong written, communication and interpersonal skills; strong conceptual, problem solving and analytical skills; have an inclusive and collaborative style; and have an impact/implementation orientation and can-do mindset. This individual will demonstrate the vision, business acumen and credibility required to consult senior clients on a peer-to-peer level.
This role requires considerable travel – domestic and periodically international.
