Proficient with hands-on coding and development of Test automation frameworks using Java and/or other Object Oriented Programming
Experience in automation frameworks and tools development
Experience with WEB API and SOAP testing
Experience with JMeter, POSTMAN, Splunk
Experience maintaining and scaling up automation infrastructure
Experience with validating platforms and reference designs
Experience in designing and developing innovative ideas that tackle automation and execution problems
Strong Understanding of REST and proven experience with REST APIs testing/automation
Strong experience in using open source tools like Git, Jenkins
Good knowledge of unit testing using tools like TestNG, Junit, unit test, etc.
Understanding of large scale distributed systems.
Knowledge of Docker and Containerization technologies.
Willingness to execute test procedures to verify functionality against specs and product requirements
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Experience generating and communicating quantitative reports
Strong understanding of concepts related to computer architecture, data structures and programming practices, SQL and back end concepts
Must have knowledge and understand fundamental concepts of Continuous Integration, Automated Testing, User Acceptance Testing
Experience working with Agile teams and use of Agile project tools.
Description
This position requires a motivated, highly-technical engineer that is passionate about building quality software and is aggressive in requiring a high level of quality. You will build the automation framework, automation tools, and develop automation scripts for validating various systems and applications. You will build functional automation scripts, both UI & API, to integrate with our CI/CD pipeline, while ensuring accurate test coverage. You will help drive the innovation in test development of all our apps, and work closely with development and QE teams to identify and act on the opportunities for automation and test tools. You will work collaboratively with other manual and automation to develop effective testing strategies as well as quality metrics for new and existing features. Developing and maintain clean test automation frameworks Developing test suites in cooperation with other team members as well as engineering that cover new and existing features. Working efficiently with cross-functional teams, understand product requirements, design test strategy and plans and implement end-to-end tests Building and maintain automated tests. Working collaboratively with other QA engineers on-site and offshore to develop effective testing strategies as well as quality metrics for new and existing features
Education & Experience
BS in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience.
