7+ years of deep expertise in the Drupal content management system
Experience integrating Drupal with third-party systems with a variety of APIs and styles
Experience with git source control and pull requests
Extensive knowledge of PHP, javascript and CSS
Familiarity with MySQL, REST APIs, JSON, XML, AJAX
Ability to communicate technical details to less technical business partners
Experience with Solr a plus
Description
In addition to directly developing modules and features for Drupal, the developer will work closely with front end developers and DevOps teams. Good code review skills are essential, both being able to provide constructive feedback, both positive and negative, as well as receiving and acting on similar feedback from other team members. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with Drupal core code, with a deep understanding of how important systems such as entities and the rendering layer work. As a leader, your expertise will help guide a team to provide a great product for our business partners. Responsibilities include - Developing features for Drupal using PHP, Javascript, HTML and CSS and git - Ensuring feature compatibility between related sites - Reviewing code and architecture submitted by teammates using agile processes to ensure rapid delivery of needed business features - Understanding and ensuring high performance and scalability - Working closely with front end developers to guide and implement design and theme layer work - Assisting in the deployment of applications using Ansible or Kubernetes
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent experience.
