Job Summary
Dominion Energy is seeking a year-round intern to work directly with our Supply Chain team in the Power Generation group. The position works with supply chain professionals, internal customers and suppliers to provide strategic solutions for our company. The ideal candidate has at least two semesters before graduation (sophomore or junior) and is available to work part time during the academic year, and full time during the summer. The successful candidate should be in pursuit of a relevant degree and will be exposed to management of industrial materials and sourcing functions, and material requirements planning within the Supply Chain organization supporting the generation of electricity.
Candidates will have the opportunity to evaluate and process material and service requests from throughout the Dominion Power Generation fleet with a focus on cost, quality and equipment reliability in accordance with Dominion policies and procedures.
In addition to processing requests, interns will be expected to perform spend analyses and interact with internal customers and subject matter experts to obtain desired results.
Exposure to all levels of the business will be included as part of this year-round part time and full-time summer internship, including some day travel to visit Dominion facilities.

Job Summary
There are multiple positions being filled at the Engineer II or Engineer III level, commensurate with the successful candidates' experience, knowledge and skills.
Engineer II:Dominion Energy's Electric Transmission (ET) System Protection Engineering department is seeking a motivated Electrical Engineer to support the Companyâs evolving transmission grid. The primary responsibilities for this role include the design and development of protective relay settings for ET capital projects and the advancement of system protection applications and technology in the areas of smart grids and inverter-based interconnections.
Engineer III:This role is the top progression level position in the engineer series and requires an individual who can apply a diversified knowledge of engineering principles and experience to major projects that have a significant impact to the system. The incumbent will be expected to provide technical expertise and team leadership as needed and will need to be comfortable working independently and in a team-oriented environment.
Job Responsibilities â Engineer II:⢠Develop protective relay settings for Electric Transmission protection schemes inside the substation.⢠Provide technical assistance to various engineering and field teams to fully develop the protection and control design package. ⢠Provide technical support to conceptual engineering teams, project management teams and ET Field Organization throughout the course of capital projects. ⢠Perform other duties as requested or assigned.

Engineer II:

Experience with PSCAD and/or RTDS is a plus.
Note: At least 5 years of research engineering work experience on directly related projects for the electric utility industry. Work on such projects may be accomplished as part of an Electrical (or other engineering discipline identified by leadership) Engineering PhD program on its own (if 5+ years in duration) or in combination with additional research engineering work experience on directly related projects for the electric utility industry.
Note: Military service members and veterans with ranks from E5-E9, W1-CW5, or O1-O3, plus appropriate equivalent combination of education and years of experience as outlined above.
Education Requirements
Education Level Required: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
REQUIRED ENGINEERING CRITERIA:
For placement of a candidate in the Engineer job series, the following criteria must be met:
Possess a 4-year engineering degree from an ABET accredited engineering program based on the year that the engineering program was accredited by ABET, or
Possess a 4-year engineering degree from an institution outside of the U.S. which is accredited through the country's own engineering accrediting body under the Washington Accord as a full signatory, and is a degree that was recognized by the country's accrediting body on or after the date that full signatory status was achieved, or
Possess a 4-year engineering degree from a non-ABET accredited program and a postgraduate engineering degree from an institution where the undergraduate degree in the same engineering discipline is ABET accredited based on the year the engineering program was accredited by ABET, or
Possess a 4-year degree in Physics, Chemistry, Math or Engineering Technology and a post-graduate engineering degree from an institution where the undergraduate degree in the same engineering discipline is ABET accredited based on the year the engineering program was accredited by ABET, or
Holds or has previously held a valid U.S. Professional Engineer license.

Advises internal stakeholders on cloud cost optimization.Collaborates with Cyber security team to upgrade third party/vendor management program to address growth of outsourced services & allow for new technologies & service providers to be on-boarded.Responsibilities: ⢠Work closely with Cyber Security, IT Infrastructure Operations, Enterprise Architecture and IT Services teams to help formulate and implement a strategy for cloud security that is tailored to the specific risks facing the organization, including threat modeling and applications security advisement services. ⢠Evaluate and document applicable third-party security controls, assisting with security reviews, and working with internal teams to address compliance and audit issues surrounding use of cloud-based vendors providing services to the company. ⢠Lead the analysis of questionnaires pertaining to third party profiles and review evidence of controls and programs based on internal, regulatory and industry standards. ⢠Responsible for conducting third party security reviews, identifying security issues and developing security policies, procedures, and standards for our third-party risk management program to address ongoing usage of cloud-based technology platforms.⢠Develop & maintain a balanced cloud security governance framework based on industry standards. ⢠Automate & improve visibility of Cloud services being utilized, ensure compliance with regulatory, & industry standards. ⢠Continuously evaluate the organizations existing cloud security practices to ensure alignment with security strategy & standards and demonstrate improvements to the cloud programs within the organization. ⢠Evaluate business strategies, requirements, user needs, existing usage cloud platforms, technical capabilities, and overall cloud application maturity, & provides strategic guidance and best-practices based recommendations for implementing governance dashboards and proven best practices for cloud-based application/platform development, deployment, and support. ⢠Facilitate change review in cloud service configuration, processes, standards and technology to ensure the effectiveness of security controls and compliance requirements. ⢠Consult with stakeholders on requirements for new and existing business/technology solutions to assure compliance to cloud security governance frameworks and internal policies, standards, & procedures.

Clover Power Station is a coal fired power station located in Clover, Virginia. With a generating capacity of 865 MW, the station provides electricity to power about 285,000 homes.

BHE GT&S is seeking a Gas Measurement Specialist for our Leesburg Transmission in Leesburg, VA.
You will perform all duties related to natural gas measurement and regulation for LDC's. Specifically, you will:
Install, operate, maintain, calibrate, test and repair gas measurement and regulation equipment, as well as use orifice meter gauges and tubes, recording thermometers, pressure gauges, transducers, chromatographs, and flow controlling and pressure regulating equipment.
Assist in the solution of problems pertaining to gas measurement and regulation;

Prepare and maintain records and reports;

Perform manufacturer evaluations and support material requisitions as needed.
Support Dominion field organizations in response to equipment emergencies, material, design, and any other issues identified by the field.
Perform root cause analysis of events and implement improvement plans.
Maintain and manage equipment data for transmission assets.

At least 5 years of research engineering work experience on directly related projects for the electric utility industry. Work on such projects may be accomplished as part of an Electrical (or other engineering discipline identified by leadership) Engineering PhD program on its own (if 5+ years in duration) or in combination with additional research engineering work experience on directly related projects for the electric utility industry.
Candidate should have strong electrical engineering background; preferably in electric power systems. Other engineering backgrounds may be considered if presented in combination with a strong electric power background.
Candidate should possess strong knowledge of engineering principles and practices that will enable the successful candidate to progress in either an engineering career series.
Knowledge in using specialized power engineering tools, such as PSS/E, PSCAD, RTDS, MATLAB, Ping Things, and openPDC.
Experience with real-time synchrophasor measurements, potential cyber attack vectors, and attack detection methodology.
Proficient at analyzing all aspects of three-phase AC power flow.
Demonstrated resourcefulness in developing system models from diverse and indirect data and information sources preferred.
Demonstrated resourcefulness in development and verification of FACTS device models from design and field data preferred.

Job Summary
North Anna Power Station in Mineral, VA is seeking a Nuclear Chemistry Technician T3 or fully qualified Nuclear Chemistry Technician.
The position will be filled at the level commensurate with the successful candidate's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Nuclear Chemistry Tech:
This is the fully qualified level.
Independently performs chemical analyses on gases, fluids and solids in and around the nuclear power station.
Independently collect and perform chemical analyses on gases, liquids and solids from process streams throughout the plant.
Operate a variety of chemical test and analytical equipment including spectrophotometers, titration devices, ion chromatographs, gas chromatographs, atomic absorption and emission spectrometers, pH meters and conductivity cells.
Maintain, calibrate, standardize, and perform preventative maintenance on chemistry bench-top and inline instrumentation and equipment.
May serve as the shift lead to provide the requisite level of technical expertise to less experienced technicians.
Assist in the training and qualification of students enrolled in the Chemistry Technician Training program.
Perform administrative duties in support of department operations, including procedure review and development, periodic test scheduling, and management reporting.
Respond to a variety of system and process alarms, including turbine or reactor trip, and main condenser impurity ingress.
Actively support all elements of the laboratory quality control and quality assurance program and regulatory inspections.
Perform special projects and studies as designated by laboratory supervision and participate in self-assessments and Training Review Board meetings.
Participate in the station s emergency response organization.
Perform work activities with other station departments, vendors and contractors.

Operate and maintain the on-line chemical monitoring system.

The Gas Regulatory Affairs Team is seeking analytical, detail-oriented individuals with a desire to learn about the natural gas industry. Job Summary
This role oversees, directs and provides leadership and technical expertise in one or more following principal functional areas: tax research, preparation of federal, state, and local income and franchise tax returns (or the preparation) of non-income tax returns, including federal excise tax, property tax, state excise tax, gross receipt tax, sales tax and consumer tax to ensure compliance with all federal, state and local tax laws.

Job Summary
This role performs maintenance, installation and corrective activities on system protection devices, control circuits, metering, and communication equipment (both data and PLC) within Dominion's Transmission, Distribution and Generating network. Assists during functional operational testing of substation auxiliary equipment and verification of the Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) data systems that provide the operating centers with real time operating and alarm information
Assists with protective relay and control equipment repairs
Installation activities include assisting Lead/Senior technicians' functional verification of all primary and secondary equipment as designed by Dominion and its manufacturers
Corrective activities include assisting Lead/Senior technicians in analyzing alarms, identifying potential problems, and developing safe and effective basic corrective action investigation plans
Activities regarding potential cyber issues related to protection and control devices require that security assessments be performed to verify the integrity of cyber security control at substation locations

Job Duties include:
Provide radiological protection to protect the health and safety of the general public and employees from the hazards of radiation through surveys, analyses, sampling and compliance with regulations, standards and procedures.
Provide job coverage for radiological concerns during routine and special plant maintenance activities.
Perform routine and random radiation surveys (including personnel exposure, equipment contamination, air samples) to assess radiological conditions.
Prepare and monitor Radiation Work Permits.
Inspect, calibrate and maintain radiological protection instrumentation and sampling equipment.
Provide technical expertise and support to all radiological protection program elements.

Job Summary
This internship is with the System Operations Planning Department for the Dominion Energy System Operations Center (SOC). The direct responsibility of this department is the overall management of planned outages within the Dominion System Territory including real time operational support, system studies, and system outage coordination. The analysis and support provided by System Operations Planning is essential to ensure the Dominion System maintains reliability and security with all planned and forced outages that may occur. The responsibilities of this internship may include power flow and contingency analysis studies by use of Dominionâs Energy Management System (EMS), advancement of Dominionâs automated study platform (ANODE), interface and real time support to the System Operations Department, coordination of planned outages for upgrades to the system, and automation of study scenarios to streamline Dominionâs current study process, practices, and procedures. This internship will interface on a daily basis with Power System Reliability Engineers, Power System Study Engineers, Outage Coordinators, and Operators all within the SOC.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience
The successful candidate is required to have completed coursework in power systems at either the undergraduate or graduate level. Graduate level power system coursework is preferred. It is required that the candidate have an understanding of power flow analysis, contingency analysis, and state estimation. It is preferred that the candidate be familiar with PSSe software and be comfortable coding in Python or Visual Basic. The intern should be a motivated self-starter willing take on a challenge, excellent oral and written communicator, and team oriented.
Education Requirements
Required to be working towards aBachelor or Master of Science in Electrical Engineering with emphasis in Power Systems from an ABET accredited university. It is preferred that the intern have an anticipated graduation date of May 2023 or prior.
