Job Summary

Dominion Energy is seeking a year-round intern to work directly with our Supply Chain team in the Power Generation group. The position works with supply chain professionals, internal customers and suppliers to provide strategic solutions for our company. The ideal candidate has at least two semesters before graduation (sophomore or junior) and is available to work part time during the academic year, and full time during the summer. The successful candidate should be in pursuit of a relevant degree and will be exposed to management of industrial materials and sourcing functions, and material requirements planning within the Supply Chain organization supporting the generation of electricity.

• Candidates will have the opportunity to evaluate and process material and service requests from throughout the Dominion Power Generation fleet with a focus on cost, quality and equipment reliability in accordance with Dominion policies and procedures.

• In addition to processing requests, interns will be expected to perform spend analyses and interact with internal customers and subject matter experts to obtain desired results.

• Exposure to all levels of the business will be included as part of this year-round part time and full-time summer internship, including some day travel to visit Dominion facilities.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience

Education Requirements

Full time undergraduate student pursuing a degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or a related field. Students concentrating in Supply Chain Management and Analytics strongly preferred.

Must have a graduation date of Fall 2021 or later.

Job Summary

There are multiple positions being filled at the Engineer II or Engineer III level, commensurate with the successful candidates' experience, knowledge and skills.

Engineer II:Dominion Energy's Electric Transmission (ET) System Protection Engineering department is seeking a motivated Electrical Engineer to support the Company’s evolving transmission grid. The primary responsibilities for this role include the design and development of protective relay settings for ET capital projects and the advancement of system protection applications and technology in the areas of smart grids and inverter-based interconnections.

Engineer III:This role is the top progression level position in the engineer series and requires an individual who can apply a diversified knowledge of engineering principles and experience to major projects that have a significant impact to the system. The incumbent will be expected to provide technical expertise and team leadership as needed and will need to be comfortable working independently and in a team-oriented environment.

Job Responsibilities – Engineer II:• Develop protective relay settings for Electric Transmission protection schemes inside the substation.• Provide technical assistance to various engineering and field teams to fully develop the protection and control design package. • Provide technical support to conceptual engineering teams, project management teams and ET Field Organization throughout the course of capital projects. • Perform other duties as requested or assigned.

The knowledge, skills, abilities and experiences required for entry into this job include the following:

Engineer II:

• 3+ years of relevant engineering experience. Note: a partial year of related work experience of 6 months or greater will be considered one year towards the qualifications.

• Advanced Degrees may be substituted for years of experience.

• Understanding of AC/DC fundamentals, including three-phase power systems.

• Understanding of the principles of transmission and/or distribution relay protection preferred.

Engineer III:

• 5+ years of relevant engineering experience. Note: a partial year of related work experience of 6 months or greater will be considered one year towards the qualifications.

• Advanced Degrees may be substituted for years of experience.

• Comprehensive understanding of AC/DC fundamentals, including three-phase power systems.

• Thorough understanding of the principles of transmission and distribution relay protection preferred.

Engineer II & III:

• Strong time management skills with the ability to independently plan and organize work assignments.

• Strong oral and written communication skills, including technical writing.

• Ability to think analytically and solve complex problems.

• Ability to interpret codes, regulations and practices.

• Full knowledge of engineering theories and principles.

• Experience with short circuit modeling software preferred.

• Understanding of IEC 61850 communication protocol for intelligent substation protection is a plus.

• Experience with SAP work management systems is a plus.

• Programming skills for automation of system studies (e.g., Python, .NET, C#, etc.) is a plus.

• Experience with PSCAD and/or RTDS is a plus.

Note: At least 5 years of research engineering work experience on directly related projects for the electric utility industry. Work on such projects may be accomplished as part of an Electrical (or other engineering discipline identified by leadership) Engineering PhD program on its own (if 5+ years in duration) or in combination with additional research engineering work experience on directly related projects for the electric utility industry.

Note: Military service members and veterans with ranks from E5-E9, W1-CW5, or O1-O3, plus appropriate equivalent combination of education and years of experience as outlined above.

Education Requirements

Education Level Required: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.

• Possess a 4-year engineering degree from an ABET accredited engineering program based on the year that the engineering program was accredited by ABET, or

• Possess a 4-year engineering degree from an institution outside of the U.S. which is accredited through the country's own engineering accrediting body under the Washington Accord as a full signatory, and is a degree that was recognized by the country's accrediting body on or after the date that full signatory status was achieved, or

• Possess a 4-year engineering degree from a non-ABET accredited program and a postgraduate engineering degree from an institution where the undergraduate degree in the same engineering discipline is ABET accredited based on the year the engineering program was accredited by ABET, or

• Possess a 4-year degree in Physics, Chemistry, Math or Engineering Technology and a post-graduate engineering degree from an institution where the undergraduate degree in the same engineering discipline is ABET accredited based on the year the engineering program was accredited by ABET, or

• Holds or has previously held a valid U.S. Professional Engineer license.

Job Summary

Candidate will help lead Cloud Information Security Governance activities, including working closely with the Cyber Security, IT Infrastructure Operations, Enterprise Architecture and IT Services teams to implement best practices within the cloud-based environments. Also will be responsible for the evaluation, recommendations, and implementations of cloud security controls in an automated continuous integration/deployment environment. Consults and serves as analytics expert in cloud governance. Responsible for providing governance over all flavors of cloud including SaaS, PaaS, IaaS and associated Managed Service Providers (MSP) for IaaS. Work with Cyber Security team to establish cloud-computing & security policies, select tools for enforcing guardrails on cloud adoption, & guide implementation of these tools. Policy is created in collaboration with a cross-functional team and enforced by a mixture of tools & organizational processes. Selects and operates cloud governance tools. Provides appropriate risk as well as financial impacts, manage reputational, cyber & organizational risks, promote the use of good practices, and provide insights into cloud providers and associated costs. Advises internal stakeholders on cloud cost optimization.Collaborates with Cyber security team to upgrade third party/vendor management program to address growth of outsourced services & allow for new technologies & service providers to be on-boarded.Responsibilities: • Work closely with Cyber Security, IT Infrastructure Operations, Enterprise Architecture and IT Services teams to help formulate and implement a strategy for cloud security that is tailored to the specific risks facing the organization, including threat modeling and applications security advisement services. • Evaluate and document applicable third-party security controls, assisting with security reviews, and working with internal teams to address compliance and audit issues surrounding use of cloud-based vendors providing services to the company. • Lead the analysis of questionnaires pertaining to third party profiles and review evidence of controls and programs based on internal, regulatory and industry standards. • Responsible for conducting third party security reviews, identifying security issues and developing security policies, procedures, and standards for our third-party risk management program to address ongoing usage of cloud-based technology platforms.• Develop & maintain a balanced cloud security governance framework based on industry standards. • Automate & improve visibility of Cloud services being utilized, ensure compliance with regulatory, & industry standards. • Continuously evaluate the organizations existing cloud security practices to ensure alignment with security strategy & standards and demonstrate improvements to the cloud programs within the organization. • Evaluate business strategies, requirements, user needs, existing usage cloud platforms, technical capabilities, and overall cloud application maturity, & provides strategic guidance and best-practices based recommendations for implementing governance dashboards and proven best practices for cloud-based application/platform development, deployment, and support. • Facilitate change review in cloud service configuration, processes, standards and technology to ensure the effectiveness of security controls and compliance requirements. • Consult with stakeholders on requirements for new and existing business/technology solutions to assure compliance to cloud security governance frameworks and internal policies, standards, & procedures.

Basic Qualifications:

• 5+ years of Task Management, Systems & Security Analysis and data center operations experience is preferred

Job Summary

Dominion Energy Clover Power Station seeks a highly motivated Engineer II or III to become part of the Technical Support Team. Clover Power Station is a coal fired power station located in Clover, Virginia. With a generating capacity of 865 MW, the station provides electricity to power about 285,000 homes.

The position will be filled at the level commensurate with the successful candidate's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Engineer II:This role is fully competent in all conventional aspects of the subject matter. Second level position in the engineering series provides engineering support in designated company area, or specific engineering discipline. Performs and/or reviews engineering calculations, analysis, research and design. Provides cost analysis as needed and develops recommendation based on calculations (e.g. cost for equipment upgrade) for management review. Distinguished from Engineer I by increased complexity in application of engineering skills required. Under direction of supervisor or work leader, exercises independence in evaluating, selecting and applying standard or well defined engineering techniques, procedures and criteria. Uses independent judgment in prioritizing and making moderately complex adaptations and modifications. Assignments have clear and specified objectives and require investigation of a limited number of variables. Perform other duties as requested or assigned.

Engineer III:This role is the top progression level position in the engineer series. Includes senior to technical expert engineers, able to perform difficult and complex work requiring thorough knowledge of the subject matter and significant experience within functional assignment area. Schedules and coordinates major segments of complex projects to meet cost and time objectives. Plans and conducts work requiring judgment in the independent evaluation, selection, adaptation and modification of standard techniques, procedures and criteria. Devises new approaches to problems encountered and develops engineering criteria ensuring compliance with design criteria and standards. At higher levels of proficiency within this classification, incumbents are expected to provide technical expertise and/or team leadership as needed. Job Summary

BHE GT&S is seeking a Gas Measurement Specialist for our Leesburg Transmission in Leesburg, VA.

You will perform all duties related to natural gas measurement and regulation for LDC's. Specifically, you will:

• Install, operate, maintain, calibrate, test and repair gas measurement and regulation equipment, as well as use orifice meter gauges and tubes, recording thermometers, pressure gauges, transducers, chromatographs, and flow controlling and pressure regulating equipment.

• Assist in the solution of problems pertaining to gas measurement and regulation;

• Install gauge lines and piping to instruments, meters, and other gas measurement equipment;

• Prepare and maintain records and reports;

• Make minor repairs to equipment used in the performance of assigned duties;

• Keep the equipment in safe and proper working condition in accordance with established corporate policies and/or governmental rules and promote good customer and public relations.

This position pays an hourly rate of $34.23

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience

Minimum Requirements (Note: A partial year of related work experience of 6 months or greater will be considered one year towards the qualifications):

• Minimum 1 year combined related gas industry experience, relevant military experience or other related experience. (i.e. oil, steam, HVAC, plumbing, propane, gas boiler/furnace)

• Must be able to respond within 50 minutes to the station in Leesburg, VA.

Additional Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Ability to operate various electronic and pneumatic devices such as flow controlling and pressure regulating equipment, orifice gauges and tubes, recording thermometers, pressure gauges, chromatographs, and testers, transducers, provers, chromatograph, computers, etc.); ability to install gauge lines and piping.

Knowledge in using specialized power engineering tools, such as PSS/E, PSCAD, RTDS, MATLAB, Ping Things, and openPDC.

Experience with real-time synchrophasor measurements, potential cyber attack vectors, and attack detection methodology.

Proficient at analyzing all aspects of three-phase AC power flow.

Demonstrated resourcefulness in developing system models from diverse and indirect data and information sources preferred.

Demonstrated resourcefulness in development and verification of FACTS device models from design and field data preferred.

Job Summary

North Anna Power Station in Mineral, VA is seeking a Nuclear Chemistry Technician T3 or fully qualified Nuclear Chemistry Technician.

The position will be filled at the level commensurate with the successful candidate's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Nuclear Chemistry Tech:

This is the fully qualified level.

• Independently performs chemical analyses on gases, fluids and solids in and around the nuclear power station.

• Independently collect and perform chemical analyses on gases, liquids and solids from process streams throughout the plant.

• Operate a variety of chemical test and analytical equipment including spectrophotometers, titration devices, ion chromatographs, gas chromatographs, atomic absorption and emission spectrometers, pH meters and conductivity cells.

• Maintain, calibrate, standardize, and perform preventative maintenance on chemistry bench-top and inline instrumentation and equipment.

• May serve as the shift lead to provide the requisite level of technical expertise to less experienced technicians.

• Assist in the training and qualification of students enrolled in the Chemistry Technician Training program.

• Perform administrative duties in support of department operations, including procedure review and development, periodic test scheduling, and management reporting.

• Respond to a variety of system and process alarms, including turbine or reactor trip, and main condenser impurity ingress.

• Actively support all elements of the laboratory quality control and quality assurance program and regulatory inspections.

• Perform special projects and studies as designated by laboratory supervision and participate in self-assessments and Training Review Board meetings.

• Participate in the station s emergency response organization.

• Perform work activities with other station departments, vendors and contractors.

• Must be able to work a rotating shift schedule.

• Collection of samples from primary and secondary plant system.

• Collect water samples from various plant systems, including those in high radiation areas, for necessary analyses.

• Operate and maintain the on-line chemical monitoring system.

• Maintain and calibrate data recording devices.

Job Summary

The Coordinator – Facilities Contract Services position within the Facilities Critical Infrastructure group will act as the primary point of contact for outside contractors performing bulk fuel delivery, bulk fuel tank maintenance, landscaping, wildlife removal, and pest control services at company owned offices, substations, microwave towers, and POP sites located throughout Virginia & North Carolina. This position provides overall management of external vendors performing associated services at company owned facilities and serving as the point of contact for internal or external customers seeking support or information regard these services.Specific duties of the position include but are not limited to the following:

• Prepares scopes of work and specifications for these services to meet the expectation of service to be performed and the customers expectation.

• Assists in the preparation, review and administration of these outside services contracts and provides recommendations on contract renewals, modifications and cancellations.

• Ensures all outside services contracts are in line with corporate goals and objectives.

• Maintains records to ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.

• Performs site visits to evaluate the quality of services being performed and report findings to service contractors, leadership, and internal customers.

• Ensures prompt and accurate payment of contractors while adhering to budgets and schedules.

• Works with internal stakeholders and Supply Chain to leverage purchasing power and competition to minimize costs.

• Ensures all service contractors are wearing the proper PPE, following the corporate safety policy, in adherence with OSHA regulations and in adherence with all the Terms & Conditions associated with their contract while performing work.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience

• 5+ years of directly related experience in project management or managing contracted facility services. A partial year of related work experience of 6 months or greater will be considered one year towards the qualifications.

• Knowledge of contract, project, construction, and property management principals.

• Ability to manage budgets to ensure billing accuracy and overall budgets are not exceeded.

• Ability to create, adjust, and manage service schedules & frequencies.

Job Summary

This posting is for several positions that will be filled at the Regulatory Analyst I level.

The Gas Regulatory Affairs Team is seeking analytical, detail-oriented individuals with a desire to learn about the natural gas industry. These positions will support Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC)-regulated interstate pipelines across BHE GT&S’s regulated gas transmission, storage and LNG businesses. These positions’ responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Gathering and providing supporting information and documentation for federal regulatory filings and cost recovery (revenue) mechanisms.

• May assist with the development and pricing of products and services.

Job Summary

This position is responsible for supervising employees and contractors in Dominion Energy (North Carolina and South Carolina) that support the overall GIS technology and data in Gas Distribution’s GIS software. Schedules, assigns and monitors the work of employees and contractors. Review contractor expenses to ensure accurate time and charges. Ensures proper work methods are applied and safety precautions are followed. Resolve customer complaints. Advises and assists in technical training and development of employees. Utilization of GIS software, compliance systems and SAP applications. Monitors budgets, goals and employee productivity.

Perform other duties as requested or assigned.

Additional responsibilities may include:• Manage GIS data for DENC and DESC.• Develop and implement tactical and strategic planning, forecasting, budgets, staffing, resources, and operations to meet short- and long-term objectives and customer needs in a timely, accurate and cost-effective manner.• Provide strategic oversight of the development, implementation, and deployment of GIS software, utilizing the latest ESRI, Oracle, iOS, SAP, IBM and Microsoft technologies, and GIS Editing and AutoCAD Drafting functions.• Appraise and resolve unusual or difficult customer or functional inquiries by working cross functionally with business units.• Serves as the business liaison with key internal stakeholders to ensure overall objectives are successfully met.• Establish a good working relationship with team members and department contacts in order to maintain and continuously strive to improve the level of overall service being provided.• Establish metrics that meet or exceed customer and Company goals and objectives while ensuring adherence to department policy and procedure.

This position will be located in either North Carolina or South Carolina (various office locations are acceptable).

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience

The knowledge, skills, abilities and experiences that are required for entry into this job include the following:• Bachelor’s and 3+ years directly related experience• Associate’s and 5+ years directly related experience• High school and 7+ years directly related experience

Job Summary

North Anna Power Station in Mineral, Virginia is seeking Health Physics Technicians to join the team.

Job Duties include:

• Provide radiological protection to protect the health and safety of the general public and employees from the hazards of radiation through surveys, analyses, sampling and compliance with regulations, standards and procedures.

• Provide job coverage for radiological concerns during routine and special plant maintenance activities.

• Perform routine and random radiation surveys (including personnel exposure, equipment contamination, air samples) to assess radiological conditions.

• Prepare and monitor Radiation Work Permits.

• Inspect, calibrate and maintain radiological protection instrumentation and sampling equipment.

• Provide technical expertise and support to all radiological protection program elements.

• Evaluate regulatory and industry standards for applicability to radiological control activities.

• Prepare, analyze, survey, package and ship radioactive material and waste.

• This position is on a 5-shift rotation (12 hour shifts).

• Will require respirator qualification.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience

• Qualified candidates must have at least 4 years of radiation protection experience of which one year should be related to technical training.

• Nuclear Navy ELT's with 6,000 hours of overhaul experience will be considered.

• Completion of Health Physics Technician Development Program or equivalent knowledge and experience.

• Nuclear industry experience preferred.

• Training as required by ANS 3.1 12/79, Sections 5.3.4 and 5.4.

• Must be able to fulfill duties as directed for Station Emergency Plan to include obtaining and maintaining required ERO/SERO qualifications, participating in ERO/SERO exercises and drills, verifying availability through response to ERO/SERO call in drills.

• Military service members and veterans with ranks from E3-E5, W1-W2, or O1-O3, plus appropriate equivalent combination of education and years of experience as outlined above.

• Military service members and veterans with ranks from E5-E9, W1-CW5, or O3-O6, plus appropriate equivalent combination of education and years of experience as outlined above.

Education Requirements

Education Level: HS Diploma required

Associates Degree in a technical field preferred. Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education.

Job Summary

This internship is with the System Operations Planning Department for the Dominion Energy System Operations Center (SOC). The direct responsibility of this department is the overall management of planned outages within the Dominion System Territory including real time operational support, system studies, and system outage coordination. The analysis and support provided by System Operations Planning is essential to ensure the Dominion System maintains reliability and security with all planned and forced outages that may occur. The responsibilities of this internship may include power flow and contingency analysis studies by use of Dominion’s Energy Management System (EMS), advancement of Dominion’s automated study platform (ANODE), interface and real time support to the System Operations Department, coordination of planned outages for upgrades to the system, and automation of study scenarios to streamline Dominion’s current study process, practices, and procedures. This internship will interface on a daily basis with Power System Reliability Engineers, Power System Study Engineers, Outage Coordinators, and Operators all within the SOC.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience

The successful candidate is required to have completed coursework in power systems at either the undergraduate or graduate level. Graduate level power system coursework is preferred. It is required that the candidate have an understanding of power flow analysis, contingency analysis, and state estimation. It is preferred that the candidate be familiar with PSSe software and be comfortable coding in Python or Visual Basic. The intern should be a motivated self-starter willing take on a challenge, excellent oral and written communicator, and team oriented.

Education Requirements

Required to be working towards aBachelor or Master of Science in Electrical Engineering with emphasis in Power Systems from an ABET accredited university. It is preferred that the intern have an anticipated graduation date of May 2023 or prior.
